Hey everyone!
This week has been crazy! I got my new sister. Her name is Sister Judd and she's AMAZING! She's from Queen Creek, AZ and she is a rock! She's so cool! I love her like crazy! We've been tearin' it up her in good ol' Grande Sherimina (Grande Ronde, Sheridan & Willamina)! :) We've been teaching people like crazy it feels like and constantly knocking on people's doors!
We had a baptism this week for Ray! It was amazing! He's such a cool guy! He then got confirmed yesterday!
We set a date with a new investigator named Tricia. She is the caregiver for a less-active member in our ward. We tracted into the house and after a few times of going over to see the less-active member, Tricia said she'd like to investigate. Sister Judd and I taught her on Wednesday. We taught her about Prophets and she said, "No one has ever explained that to me like that before. I've never understood that before." We smiled and said, "Trish, you just felt the Spirit. He's teaching you." She said, "Woah, I just got goosebumps! That's cool!" Later, we asked her if she wanted to get baptized on Jan. 15th. She gave me a funny look and I said, "Please!" She said, "I want to say yes, but I don't know why." I said, "Is it the Spirit do you think?" She said, "Why you gotta ask me questions like that!" then she said, "Yes" I said, "Yes you want to get baptized or yes it's the spirit? Or both?" She said, "Both" So, Tricia is getting baptized on the 15th!!!!! YAY!!!!!!
Last night, we went to visit a less-active family and their neice was over. She's probably in her 20's and she was saying she was mad at God for taking her parents away when she was so young. The member we had with us shared some really great scriptures with her and then we invited her to take the lessons and she agreed! It was amazing! Her name is Sarah! We're really excited to teach her!
I'm sending some pictures of S. Judd and I along with a picture from Ray's baptism! Enjoy!
I'm sorry this letter is so short, but I love you all very much!
Love,
S. Losee
