Hey Everyone!
This week has been pretty good. We had a baptism on Saturday! Tricia got baptized! She's so amazing! The baptism was awesome! I haven't been able to find a connection with most of my recent converts here. I had such strong connections to my recent converts in Springfield that it worried me when I hadn't felt that here yet. But when we found Tricia and started teaching her, I found that connection again! I found one of my lost sisters and now she's a part of my forever family! I still marvel at how we can come to love people so quickly and so deeply. It's amazing this power that this gospel has! I absolutely love it!
Yesterday, we had what's called invitation Sunday. Our Sacrament meeting was based completely around non-members. Well, our Bishop asked us to speak at it. S. Judd spoke about Joseph Smith and the Restoration and did an amazing job! Then I got up and spoke about the Book of Mormon which is one of my favorite things to speak about! The Spirit was VERY strong in the meeting. I had written a few pages of words, but spoke very few of them, because I was not in control of my mouth, the Spirit was! A woman who works at the library came to the meeting and seemed really excited to read the Book of Mormon when she left! Hopefully she'll give us a call and we can teach her!
This week we have Mission President Training, so I'm really excited to see President Macdonald. With us being so far away, it's really hard, because we don't see President and Sister Macdonald very much. President has been really good lately to text us and see how we're doing. I'm going to be sad when he gets released, but I'm sure the new Mission President will be amazing too!
We get to go to the temple next week! Yay! I'm so excited! We also get to do exchanges. S. Judd is going to Corvallis and S. Glasgow is coming here! It will be fun to see S. Glasgow again!
Well, not much else is happening right now. Just looking for people to teach and teaching the ones we have! I hope you all have a terrific week! I love you all!
