June 6, 2011: Week 5 of transfer 11

Hey everyone!
This week was pretty good actually! We began teaching that family of 8 (it's actually 7 right now). They are really great (even though they didn't come to church again). They are just really nice people who have been given a lot of truths already!
We are also teaching a pretty great family in Gold Hill. It's a part-member family who just moved in. The husband, Josh, came up to me in church yesterday and said, "You're going to have to fill me in on how I get baptized." Ha! It was so great! He wants so badly to get baptized, there's just a couple of things that stand in his way, but they are fixable.
We also got a call from the elders and they received a referral for a girl who wants to take the lessons. She is dating a member of the church and his dad is the bishop in the Singles ward. She doesn't want them to know she's investigating and she wants to be taught by sisters, so that's us! She seems pretty great! We'll meet with her tomorrow night! It's going to be really fun!
Today Sister King and I went to Ashland, Oregon and had some champion runners analyze our running technique. It was a lot of fun! We then drank some nasty Lithia water...actually, I was the only one who drank the water, because Sister King had already tried it once. It was so gross! It tasted like carbonated blood. Ugh!!!!! But Ashland was a really neat city! I really liked it!
Well, I hope you have a great week!
Love,
Sister Losee
