Hey everyone!
This week has been crazy! President Macdonald told me on Tuesday that I would be training for my last transfer. Then, on Friday, he called and said that Sister Rose (my new sister) hurt her knee in the MTC and can't come out for 2 weeks. We don't have enough sisters in the mission for someone to be able to come to me. President told me this was a problem and I needed to fix it. After A LOT of calls and approvals, I will be with Sister Dahl (who is a member down here waiting for her mission call) and then Sister Stonebrink (who is a member in Corvallis that I knew while I was there.) She's getting married in September, so this is a great opportunity for her to get to serve a mission too. Sister Dahl will be with me for a few days and then Sister Stonebrink will be with me for about 10 days. Hopefully, by that point, Sister Rose' knee will be better and she'll be able to come out.
We had a baptism yesterday! Demetre and Jade decided on Tuesday that they wanted to be baptised yesterday! We taught them all the lessons in 3 days and they got baptised! Hopefully their dad will follow them soon! We're helping him work through the setbacks he has and he's doing great!
Sister King is leaving tomorrow, so we went to this chocolate company here in Central Point. It's called LillyBelle Farms. They all all sorts of kinds of chocolate. (i.e. chocolate covered blue cheese, chocolate covered bacon, etc.) I sampled a lavendar, sea-salt caramel and a piece of chocolate with 3 of the hottest peppers in the world! It was actually really good! Super expensive to buy though!
Things are going well! The weather is getting hot! It's so great! I forgot how much I love the sun! It's great to see it more often now!
