Hey everyone!
This week was really good! We had Leadership Training with President Macdonald and it was GREAT! Sister Hamilton and I went on exchanges this week. She came to Central Point and Sister King went to Roseburg with Sister Kaufusi. It was a lot of fun!
Sister Judd is getting transfered down here this week! She'll be going to Grants Pass which is less than an hour away! We're already planning to go to Crater Lake together and to go on exchanges. We're all a little baffled with what's going to happen as far as transfers in the next few months. Sister King is the only one going home next transfer, so I'll need a new companion. I thought for a while that I would train, but now I'm thinking that I may get to be Sister Kaufusi's companion again, which would be AWESOME!!!! Whatever happens, it will be a good thing, I'm sure!
We had a great experience on Wednesday. We were teaching one of our investigators named Nikki Mitchell when a man came to her door and said that her friend Letti was having a seizure in his cab and had told him Nikki knew what to do. Nikki ran out and her husband got Letti and brought her into the trailor. As soon as Letti saw us, she said, "Sisters!" I started to talk calmly to her and asked if we could say a prayer with her. Nikki's husband flipped out (partially because he was stressed and partially because he doesn't really like us) It took me by surprise, but I felt the Spirit making me strong. I was not about to withdraw my request, because I really felt that, that was what we needed to do. Nikki then stepped in and told him to get out of the house. We then said a prayer with Letti. I felt the words flowing and I knew exactly what needed to be said. I couldn't tell you now what was said, but as soon as I started speaking Letti stopped seizing. The Spirit was so strong! It was an amazing experience! Letti is an amazing woman and is now studying with us. Wow! Heavenly Father is so great!
