April 18, 2011: Week 4 of transfer 10

WOAH!!!!!! This transfer is almost over! It's going so quickly! Sister King and I will probably be together for another transfer and then she'll go home. That's nuts!!!!!
This week was a good week. The work here is a lot slower than Willamina and I'm still trying to find my place, but it's going. We went to visit a new investigator named Lashell on Tuesday and she wasn't there, but her dad, named Jack, was. He had been reading the Book of Mormon and had some questions. So, we're now teaching Jack! He's awesome! He was raised Assembly of God and his Grandpa and dad were both pastors. Jack, himself, even did a little bit of ministry in California. Jack grew up in Utah for a little while and was always allowed to invite his friends (who were mormon) to church, but was not allowed to go with them. It always bothered him and he wondered why, so now he's satisfying his curiosity and investigating the Mormon church! He attends a Christian Fellowship here in town. He came to church yesterday though, which was amazing! It was invitation Sunday, so all of Sacrament was based completely around non-members. He said he liked it!
Today, we decorated Easter Eggs with the White City/Eagle Point Sisters, so that was a lot of fun! We made some pretty sweet eggs! :)
Well, I hope you all have a very Happy Easter!
I love you lots!
Love,
Sister Losee
