Hey Everyone!
This week was really good! We had interviews and as always, they were amazing! I am going to miss President and Sister Macdonald so much! Luckily, I'll only have about 3 weeks without them. When we are about 3 transfers from going home, we have to write 3 essays. The first is about what we've learned on our missions, miracles we've seen, spiritual experiences we've had, etc. The second one is about what we plan to do with our life after we go home and the third one is our testimony. The essays are purely for our benefit; President doesn't even see them. It's been a really great experience to write my experiences down. I was in tears the first day I started them as I wrote about the MTC and all of that. It was very good! President and I talked about a lot of things. It's amazing to me how different my interviews are now that I've been out for a while. He said that he felt he was talking to a friend and wanted to just keep talking; I felt the same way. This gospel is amazing in that it connects people so much through the Spirit! I love it!
We got news from Bill this week that he can get baptized in a couple of weeks. He is getting his port out and as soon as the wound heals, he can get in the water. We are so excited and so grateful that we get to witness this miracle. Hopefully he will heal before I get transferred. We'll be cutting it close.
We started meeting with a guy named Dan yesterday. We picked him up as a new investigator a few weeks ago, but we haven't been able to teach him. He's been coming to church for the last month though. Yesterday, he said that he feels he's found home. It was so good to hear that and the spirit was so strong as he talked about his journey. He'll be getting baptized on March 26th. Unfortunately he'll get baptized after I leave, but hopefully I'll get pictures!
This week, Hunter decided to move his baptism date forward and he'll now be getting baptized on March 20th! We also set a baptism date with a girl named Elizabeth; she'll be baptized on March 20th hopefully! Things are going really well here! We have some really amazing investigators and we're just trying to work diligently!
This coming week we're doing exchanges with Sweet Home and I get to go with Sister Glasgow. Sister Abbott will come here with Sister Judd for the night. I've never been to Sweet Home before, so this will be a fun experience.
Well, I better go. I love you lots and lots!
Love,
Sister Losee
