Hey all!
Sorry it's been a while since I last wrote, things have been a little stressful and chaotic, but it's all working out great!

This week, we've seen some pretty amazing miracles! We faced a LOT of opposition last Tuesday,Wednesday and Thursday. By Thursday night, I was so SICK of people telling me my beliefs that i just broke down and cried. But I had a feeling that Satan was working hard, because something really good was about to happen! And it did. On Friday, most of our appointments canceled, so we visited former investigators and potential investigators. We would try to visit them and then we would walk down their street and not leave until we talked to 3 people. We ended up talking to a man named Tom. Tom was so cool! He was telling us his beliefs and they fell EXACTLY in line with our beliefs. He said he didn't think that the earth was going to just be destroyed; we told him that it wasn't! It's going to be glorified! He then started talking about really deep doctrine that is in the bible. Very few members even understand the doctrine he was talking about, but he understood it perfectly! It was so cool! We set up an appointment with him and as we walked away I told Sister Hamilton that I didn't mind when people told me my beliefs when they actually knew what they are! :)

On Friday night, we were going to visit less-active members and we OYM'd this guy (that just means we talked to him on the street). I told him who we were and he immediately said he didn't want to discuss it right then. He then turned and started talking to someone who was in the house he was next to. We told him to have a good night and walked away. We got about a block away and he yelled after us "Thanks for stopping by though. You can come back on Tuesday." I was so shocked because that NEVER happens that I forgot to set up a firm time on Tuesday with him and he went back into his house. I was so mad at myself. All I could do was pray for forgiveness and move on. As we were headed back to our car (which was parked) by his house, I was saying a prayer asking Heavenly Father to please, if there was any way possible, have him (Jason) come back out of his house so we could set up an appointment. We were about 1/4 block away from his house and a car pulled up in front of his house. We were walking pretty fast and the spirit said, "Slow down" So, we did. We got to our car right as the front door opened. Sister Hamilton got in the car and started backing up. I stayed on the sidewalk and Jason came out. We were able to set up a firm appointment with him for Tuesday! It was such a miracle to see the answer to prayer come so quickly! I LOVE BEING A MISSIONARY!!!!

Angel and Oriana got baptized on Saturday! It was an AMAZING baptism! It was pretty chaotic and tense at the beginning, but by the end, the spirit was there and all worked out just fine! We weren't sure Oriana was going to go through with it, but she did! I was so filled with gratitude and love for those two that I could barely talk to give the first lesson for the intermission! I love that feeling!!!!
