I thought I'd send some pictures this week, so you all can see how beautiful my companions and Oregon are! :) I hope you all had a great Mother's Day!
There were LOTS of Miracles this week. Every time we find a new investigator, we consider it a miracle, because a heart has been changed. We were able to find 7 new investigators this week and we're working hard to get more everyday.
Another thing that happened... although I'm not sure how it's going to be a miracle yet, but I know it's happening for some reason... I'm getting transferred in the middle of the transfer. When Sister Kaufusi first came, our mission president told us that it may be a possibility for Sister Cutler to be leaving mid-transfer if a sister came up from Temple Square. Well, we didn't get a new sister from temple square, but the one we had has to go back this week and her current companion will be left companionless. So, we got the call on Saturday evening that I will be going to Springfield to be with Sister Hamilton and Sisters Cutler and Kaufusi will be staying in Corvallis until the end of the transfer when Sister Cutler goes home. :( We don't know what is going to happen after that, but we do know it's in the Lord's hands. I'm going to miss Sisters Cutler and Kaufusi so so so much! It's amazing the relationships you build with your companions! We are around each other 24/7, but I love them like family! I can't imagine what life is going to be like without them right by my side. Luckily, I do know Sister Hamilton. We were actually in the MTC together, so I'm going with a friend and I know that I'll come to love her as much as I love Sisters Cutler and Kaufusi. Change is just a really hard thing, but I'm finding it's mostly what you get to experience on a mission. It's how the Lord shapes and molds us into the people we need to be to have happy, healthy lives.
I hope you enjoy the pictures. Some are from the Coast at Newport and others are from the Wild-Animal Life Safari that we went to. One is of Sister Cutler, Kaufusi and me with Rhododendron flowers in our hair, here in Corvallis. There are tons of those bushes here and they are quickly becoming some of my favorites!
Well, I hope you all have a TERRIFIC week!
Love,
Sister Losee

The picture of the food is from my "greenie" meal that a member made for us.

The one at the church is of my first baptism. Her name is Leki Gapelu! She's so cool!

And then also there is this creepy statue in Central Park here in Corvallis that I got my pic taken by.
