Hi everyone!
Happy 4th of July!
It's been a pretty good week! We worked this morning, so we could have the whole evening off.
This week we met a Polynesian family that we're teaching now! The mom, Von, came to church yesterday and seemed to really enjoy it! The spirit was very strong in Sacrament meeting and she kept getting teary! It was very sweet!
Sister Rose is so great! She's super funny! I love her! If it wouldn't cause so much chaos, I'd extend until September, so I could finish training her, but don't worry mom, I wouldn't do that to you!
We met President and Sister Young this week! They are so great! It's very different, but they are sweethearts too! We get to have interviews on Wednesday with them! I'll let you know how it goes!
Oh I have AWESOME news! One of my recent converts from Springfield, Jack, is getting ready to go to the temple and bore his testimony yesterday about going on a mission! How crazy is that?! I'm so happy for him. It was kind of funny, because I was telling Sister Rose about Jack the other day and then I dreamed about him that night. I dreamed that I called him and we were talking and then I asked how church was going and the phone went dead. I was freaking out, because I thought he had hung up on me, because he wasn't doing well. Well, in the dream he called back and told me church was great and he was getting ready to go to the temple. I woke up the next morning and texted the sisters to see how he is doing and they texted back saying he was getting ready to go to the temple! Then, yesterday we got a text about him going on a mission! It was such great news to hear! I'm so glad he's doing so well! I'll have to tell you more about Jack when I get home! He's a pretty great person! He was very prepared for the gospel!
